Oakwood GA Homes
Located just north of Flowery Branch, GA is a small area called Oakwood, Georgia. With a population of less than 3000, this area has grown immensly in the last few years. It’s located minutes from Lake Lanier and about 15 minutes north of the fabulous mall of Georgia. A couple of years ago, you may have just driven by this exit of I 985 (exit 16) and just noted the few fast food restaurants that were there. Now, Oakwood has gone through such growth that all the roads had to be completely reworked. Now that the construction is over (mostly, anyway) Oakwood is a great place to go shopping at the brand new Wal-mart or strolling through the isles of the “just opened” Sam’s Club. Oakwood has pretty much every fast food joint you need and a few other sit down restaurants. La Parilla and Buffalo’s Cafe’….to name a couple. Oakwood is a great place to stop in and have a bite to eat and a great place to live!
